Kangana Ranaut is from Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India. She is 1987 born Hindi movie actress.
In September 2005, when Kangana was drinking coffee with one of her friends at a café in Mumbai. Filmmaker Anurag Basu, who had already directed a successful film Murder, spotted Kangana and called her for the audition and finally signed her for his next movie Gangster.
Her latest Bollywood movie is Woh Lamhe where she is acting opposite Shiney Ahuja.
