Katrina Kaif was born on July 16, 1983. She is a model and Bollywood actress. She was discovered at age 14 as a model for a jewellery campaign. When moving to India, she worked for photographer Atul Kasbekar and did commercials for Fevicol, Lakme cosmetics and Veet among others.
Katrina debuted in the film Boom, which featured her as a supermodel. In 2005 she starred in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya opposite Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen.
She is recently in controversial news for wearing skirt at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah in Ajmer.
